Garik Loran Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 Hooray, that's cool. Milkshape is one of the programs that are easy to learn and that is not so expensive. I think we will see some new models in the near future.
Emon Posted May 14, 2002 Posted May 14, 2002 1. There already are new models. 2. What good is an importer without an exporter?
DarthCobra Posted May 15, 2002 Posted May 15, 2002 Well milkshape exports in lots of formats it looks like md3 being one of them.. And I havent had much of a chance to look at this. And nothing else is able to import glm at this time so. Im sure it will be of great help. Thanks!!!
BoBo_Fett Posted May 15, 2002 Author Posted May 15, 2002 I have a working exporter, but I need to figure out how to handle the vertex Weights. Milkshape doesn't support them yet.

J_Binklestein Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 Is it just me or does this also not handle texture coordinates?
ALIEN_JL Posted May 22, 2002 Posted May 22, 2002 -- GLM is character model file -- 1. Milkshape can import from GLM 2. Milkshape can export to MD3 3. JK2Tools-MD3View can import from MD3 4. JK2Tools-MD3View can export to GLM -- GLM is character model file -- So does this mean that i can build new/ edit original character models without MAX (with just Milkshape) ???????
