Golgo
What can I say? This game rules!!! Until you get to Yavin..... The frame rate hit is enormous on my system. Even at 640x480 with all the lowest video settings I get 5 FPS which makes it totally unplayable. I have tweaked just about every setting I can think of, tried different driver versions etc. etc. all to no avail. Hate to think what it's like for people with "Minimum System Requirments".... Since I can get no further in the game, I'll be taking it back to my retailer tommorrow for a full refund.. shame really, I was looking forward to finishing it. Dissapointed. ~Golgo -------------------- AMD T-Bird 1100 A-Bit KT7A RAID 512MB PC133 SDRAM GeForce 2 MX400 64MB AGP Diamond Monster MX400 --------------------
Zodiac
I've got a 667 Pentium Celeron, a GF2 MX400 64MB, 512MB of RAM and I can even get through those levels without losing too much fps. Yes I do have to lower the detail settings a LOT, but it still remains playable (= >20fps), even in the swamp levels. So I suggest tweaking your pc a bit more, try some more different drivers. And if that once again fails: take it to the repair shops, because there's definitly something very wrong with your machine.
WD_ToRMeNt
Yeah I know what you mean. I have an athlon xp 1700, 512 megs DDR RAM, and a Radeon 7200 (64 Megs of DDR RAM) and it had to turn everything way down for it to even be playable.
fishbulb330
Those minimum system reqs on the side of those boxes are total b.s. I recently switched from ati to the geforce4 ti series and all my games run really smooth on high quality settings.
Boreas
On a test system of 550mhz, TNT2 Pro and 2xx Ram, it ran well within playing conditions on low settings.
