RobKerwin
Who do you think would win in a fight, a jedi, a sith, or Spider-Man, I'd have to say Spidey, cuz he not only is the ULTIMATE hero, but he could web his foes into submission, and has lightning fast reflexes, and most of all, Spider-Sense (he would sense a pending force or lightsaber attack)
CupO'Coffee
i'd have to say a sith would win. ok, spidey might have a sweet costume and fast reflexes, but they are not that fast. infact, i don't think he can move as fast as light. and since siths often tend to use lightning attacks, and lightning consists as we all now of light, the sith simply would've to fry him. even if spidey can dodge the first lightning strike, the sith simply would've the keep on striking, and once spidey is hit once, he'd fall to the ground and be fried bigtime
D.L.
um, lightning is electricity, not light. Names mean nothing. "You can call yourself Astro the Spacedog for all I care but that don't make your behind a rocket pack" Spidey *thwip*
Vader10
Definately a sith lord would win. They would just grip spidey until he choked to death. They could push his web away as it comes their way. If it did reach, they could easily cut through it with lightsaber. Spidey sense only lets him know that danger is near. Force sense can let them know exactly where the danger is as well as non dangerous things. Hell, Lukes sense in ESB let him know his friends were in danger star systems away. Now, as we have seen from the movies, a 1 on 1 fight between a sith and a standard jedi would easily go to the sith. Look at Ep II as an example. Dooku cut Obi in the arm and leg and put him down. Obi was suppose to be 2nd to only Yoda in saber fighting. Dooku then went on to lay the smackdown on Anakin and cut his arm off. Only when the master of all masters Yoda came into the picture, did he run away. Remember, Yoda didn't actually defeat him. He just held his own as did Dooku. So in conclusion, me votes for the Sith. Nill the Mean
But Spidey has faced countless villains with telepathic capabilities, super strength, super speed, laser swords and who knows what else. He always comes out on top. He'd find a way.

valence
Well since the fight really wouldn't be about the physical or mental prowess of any of the combatants... it would all pretty much fall on who was doing the public relations for the fighters... ticket sales boys (and girls hopefully)... that's the real battle... the winner would be determined by a 1000 person panel of financial/media/marketing analysts who would then figure out which "winner" would sell the most t-shirts/action figures/comic books/dinner plates/or whatever else they could find to stamp a logo on and sell to the masses... :tsk:
Jedi_Monk
Let's see... Spider-man can climb on walls, throw webs, sense danger with his Spidy Senses, is super strong and is super agile. A Jedi is super agile, can sense someone's moves before they make them (Battle Mediation--gotta love it!), can throw lightning, can move starships with their minds and... okay, that can't climb on walls... but what's the point of climbing up walls when that wall could suddenly become rubble under your hands and feet? Jedi can also use mind tricks, mind controle, sense manipulation... Spider-man's tough, but a Jedi has the Force--the energy field that surrounds and penetrates all living things, and this would include Spider-man. Face it, a Jedi can do anything they believe they can do.

Leagle
Hi! I'm Peter parker, and I can barely lift up a VW. Hi! I'm Darth Vader and I can kill you with a thought. Hi! I'm a random Jedi, and I could kill with a thought but I won't and I'm not as powerful as a sith. (In general). If I did decide to use my power agressively I would rock, but not as much as someone trained in the dark side of the force. (Well, a sith at least.) RobKerwin
Um, correction dude, HE CAN LIFT UP TO 10 TONS!!! So, he'd be hurling that 1/5 ton VW right in your little darksider @$$!!! Plus, force can only go so far (about 20-35 ft. 45 tops, at least in JKII) but Spidey can shoot his webs for quite a distance (how could he swing if he couldn't) so all he'd have to do is hang back a good 30 yards and spray away, or impact web him (web bullets) And if the Jedi (or Sith) managed to get close enough to use the force, Spidey can create a Web Dome which acts as a shield, and when he breaks it, it sends a shockwave hurting and knocking back anyone within 60 ft. BTW quite a few people agree that spidey could win, thanx dudes

BCanr2d2
Personally, I see the Sith coming out on top, Sorry Spidey, but I don't think you'd see that Sidious was in control of the situation, while you fought his apprentice. Let's not use the EU of JK2:JO as the basis, let's use the movies..... Spidey - Let's attach my web to the roof and swing Sith - Hmmm, I'll move that roof with the Force, and Spidey will fall to his death..... Or be crushed by the collapsing roof Or the Sith could use the mind trick to convince Spidey that he should just stand there whilst the Sith uses lightning on him!! Simple, easy, One dead spider! shidobu
Mysterio was just a special effects guy who created a lot of holograms. on an unrelated note: I think you all are forgetting about mind trick. A jedi could judt tell spider man to come down and stad there so he could run him through with his lightsaber, and there isn't anything he could do. {not that a jedi would, but he could] This is because spidey is a weak minded fool. I liked the movie too, but face it, spiderman doesn't stand a chance against a competent jedi.
RobKerwin
um, one thing, mind trick is NOT a dark side power. And Spider-Man isn't a weak minded fool, if he was, he wouldn't be able to work himself out of the many scrapes he finds himself in. I think it would be a good fight, if you don't use the force as your sole weapon.

Simple, easy, One dead spider! [/b] You can only use one force power at a time, never have I seen in the movies that any Jedi or Sith used 2 force powers at the same time. And JKII:JO uses details from the movie, including force powers, making them both the same. And, one more thing, Iv'e never seen an entire ROOF moved by the force, movies or JKII, because it is IMPOSSIBLE. How could a bounty hunter, Jango Fett beat a Jedi that has no special powers, and you say spidey can't? Sure he was loaded down with weapons, but how come the Jedi just didn't use the force on him like you say to use on Spidey?
AzzA
I find it funny that you start a poll asking for people opinions, but you proceed to trash everyone elses opinions and tell them why theirs is wrong and yours is right. Anyway, a fully trained Jedi with the Force as his ally would be able to utterly destroy Spider-Man. Whenever Spidey tried to tie them up with webs, the jedi could push the web away, or Force Speed away from it. On the topic of Speed, you say Spider-Man is fast, and while he is, he couldn't take on Force speed. A Jedi could slow down time for himself while Spider-Man can't. While time's slowed down, the Jedi could easilly cut off Spider-Man's head, or if Spider-Man tried to swing away, the Jedi would just quickly cut the web. There are other ways that Spider-Man would lose, but I'm not going to go into it right now.
Jedi_Monk
A) You say that a Jedi cannot use two Force Powers at once... fine... oh, except for that fact that even in JK2 you can use Force Speed, Jump or mind trick while blasting away at someone with lightning. B) You say a Jedi can't bring down a roof--except that Dooku would've done that to Yoda, Obi and Anakin if his ship hadn't been in that hangar. C) You say a Jedi had problems with a tricked-out bounty hinter, great--except that Mace Windu mowed down Jango Fett in about two seconds. D) You say the Force has a range of 30 feet or so... uh huh--except that a Jedi can see things happening from a galaxy away and are patched into the very life-force of the entire galaxy, not just the 30 feet around them. Luke in Bespin
lemme ask you this, whats faster? feeling the attack through the force (block) -or- reacting to an attack? swinging your saber to meet the opponent (or throwing) -or- shooting your opponent with webbing? Ben_Walker
It would be interesting at seeing if they fought one at a time. Like this..... Jedi vs. Spider man, Sith vs Spider man, Jedi vs. Sith or just have on big brawl.
RobKerwin
Sorry, don't mean any disrespect AzzA, I respect your opinion, I just wanted to see what ppl would say, truthfully, I think that Spidey would get whooped all over the place. There's no way he could possibly deal with someone highly trained in the force, but, they are not invincible, and Spidey could find a way to defeat his force-strong opponents, just a thought though. anyways, sorry again dudes. P.S. About the 2 forces at the same time, I FEEL STUPID!! well well, another lesson learned
