Elegy
One of my multiplayer maps interferes with the launching of my game in single player mode. It's odd, because it'll load up multiplayer just fine. I get the message ERROR: filename length > MAX_QPATH ( strlen(Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast/GameData/base/levelshots/) = 78) every time I try to launch the single player game up. I troubleshooted and removed my maps one at a time until I isolated which map was causing this, it's a file called reactor.pk3. So for now every time I play SP I just move that map to a seperate folder on my HD. I was wondering if anyone else has ever encountered this though, and if there's anything I can do to keep that map in my JKII's base directory and still be able to launch the game in SP mode. Zoson
encountered it, didn't know how to fix it, read your post, you helped me the reason why it doesn't work is when the pak was compiled it was not compiled using absolute directory tree, it was compiled using the owners directory tree. which is not the same as the default directory tree. I'm not sure what it is, but you need to install with that directory tree and you should have no problems. or the creator of reactor could simply recompile the map using absolute directory structure ;D -Zoson
