Trouble using Player Made Maps

I have downloaded both the ladder.pk3 and the new ffaepisode1.pk3

 

map ffa_episode1 will not load it

map ffaepisode1 will not load it

map ladder will not load ladder

 

Neither show up as choices in multiplayer

 

They are in my Jedi KnightII/GameData/base/ directory as they should be

these are the only maps i've downloaded, i have the latest JKII Patch from Lucasarts

 

I do not understand why they will not load

Unless there is a file in which i need to change it to load those pk3 files?

The ladder is a singleplayer map , it won't show up in the multiplayer list and you can only load it with map xxx in sp .

 

The ffaepisode1 map should show up in the mp map list as Duel Of The Fates . You should also be able to load the map with map ffaepisode1 though.
