eye height in game units

make halls/tunnels in jk2 always at least two and a half times as high as the player box you see in radiant.

 

Wider is better too but you have more leeway in that department.

 

Reasoning being that most people are playing in third person view and since the camera doesn't clip through walls you can seriously hamper someone's visibility by making a hall too small.

In Q3A the eye level is 56 units above the floor, if I'm not mistaken. The perspective makes it feel like the eye level is higher (if in first person mode) though.

 

I guess it's the same in JK II.
