d4rthsid
You guys all seem to know what you're doing so I'll ask you cause LucasArts wasn't much help at all. Well here's my system specs: Athlon XP 1700+ All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500DV 512MB DDR PC2100 On board sound (FIC built-in) Generic NIC card (some brand) HP 12x10x32x8x CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive (IDE) I'm runnin Windows XP Home Edition on a 30GB Maxtor 7200RPM drive (IDE) no overclocking has been done...yet. the mobo and processor are less than 2 months old, the vid card I've had for at least 2 months. Now here's the problem: When I insert the CD the autorun generates and error and won't start the autorun screen. also when I open the drive and click on the autorun that way I get the same error. I think its safe to say WTF!! Any suggestions. BTW this is what happened after I had reinstalled windows (windows was not reinstalled for the game, I swapped mobo and processor from a PII-400mhz). Before now I was able to get in game and then when I clicked on start a new game the load screen would appear and then the lightsaber meter at the bottom would load...then it would just sit there at the fully loaded load screen, I left it for a good hour one time and it still was just sitting there. I had to reboot, couldn't alt-tab, alt-F4, or Ctrl+Alt+Del it. Thanx for any help, sorry about the length of the post. I just really wanna play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Toa Tahu
How I wish that JO could run after either one is fulfilled: 1:Shout WTF is wrong with my JO? 2:Get some Raven developer to come [all the way round the other side of the earth] and help me fix it,or simply get me a GF4 so I could play. 3:God listens to me and stops the end year exam from happening and so I get to browse longer for help. 4:A miracle happens. 5:Post help EVERYWHERE with hopes of getting helped. Anyway, this is my problem,I hope someone here could help slove it for me: ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3) ...setting mode 3: 640 480 FS ...using colorsbits of 16 ...calling CDS: ok ...created window@0,0 (640x480) Initializing OpenGL driver ...getting DC: succeeded ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...35 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...35 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3) ...shutting down QGL ...unloading OpenGL DLL ----- CL_Shutdown ----- RE_Shutdown( 1 ) ----------------------- GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem The italics was where it went wrong.
