Running the benchmark.

I hear there's a built in benchmark for JKII. Having not played any of the Quake games, how do you run this benchmark?

 

And along the same lines, how do you get the frame rate to be displayed on screen?

To disply the framerate open the console ( shift +key left to 1) and type cg_drawFPS 1 . To disable frameratedisplay type cg_drawFPS 0.

Create a shortcut to jk2mp.exe, open properties and add +set sv_cheats 1 +set timedemo 1 +demo jk2ffa to the path (e.g.

"E:\Programme\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\jk2mp.exe" +set sv_cheats 1 +set timedemo 1 +demo jk2ffa ) To view the result open console and scroll with page up.
