[RDH]Diversion Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 I have no clue how to use BehavEd at all. I need some help!
Xcom Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 EF BehavED comes with a handy manual. It will get you started anyway. You can also download this WORD document: http://www.geocities.com/lord_dave122/bheaved.DOC
Hubris Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 This is the only set I've found, not very in depth tutorial wise, but the basic ones he does have are well done. http://www.geocities.com/rellenbroek/main_realscripts.html
UniKorn Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Wow, I never knew these existed. I think they are very useful for beginning scripters.
Pseudopath Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 I hope so cause I wanna get my navgoal movement sorted so I reading these to start with! Thanks for posting these. Maybe you should add them to the resource list thread. - Pseudopath.
Anakin Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Excelent You guys got the tools yet, I know we have at AOTCTC but Im not sure if they have been released to the general community yet. Anakin http://www.aotctc.org.uk
Pseudopath Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 We aint got em yet, tell us about them. Is the documentation good? Are they easy to use? Thanks. - Pseudopath.
Anakin Posted May 28, 2002 Posted May 28, 2002 Yep there are good stuff in the file, Im surprised it hasnt been released yet, but there is a basic tutorial type of thing on there and BehavEd JK edition and a few other things in there too which should make our lives a little easier. jipe Posted May 29, 2002 Posted May 29, 2002 I was also impressed by the tools. The documentation is excellent and BehavEd is easy to work with. My only complaint is the lack of the singleplayer SDK. ICARUS2 is nice, but much too limiting. [Edit: Be on the lookout for Cog Warehouse, a new hosted site specializing in JO coding. I've been working hard to explore ICARUS and get tutorials started/written.]
Pseudopath Posted May 29, 2002 Posted May 29, 2002 Thank you! I look forward to your tutorials etc. Thank you for supporting this great game! It's people like you that ensure the longevity of games like JK][. Cheers! - Pseudopath.
