Quest for an fxFile

Load up the very first single player map of the game. At the top of some nearby towers, there's a small white glaring light that's a pinpoint at the top of a little antenna.

 

WHICH FILE IS THAT?

 

I've looked in any out of the Kejim and all the commonly used efx's and cannot for the life of me first out which one it is.

Sounds to me like a flare. It's a shader.

Arrgh. They always fool me with these things... any hint as to where that shader is?

I'd have to agree. I kinda wish that raven would have sent us the .map files so that we can learn how they do half the stuff they do.

Nah, I think there is always some fun in searching for stuff. Makes you feel so much better when you found it

Yeah, because it was *great* fun to search for stuff in Jedi Knight. Like COG. It took a long time before JKSpecs came out, and that was with Yves's help.. not fun at all. Any "official" help from Raven is greatly appreciated as it saves people from wasting their time.
