UniKorn
A platform is designed in the top position and will always start in the game in the lowered position. So it is probably somewhere down there where you can't reach it.

yrean
this is what i did... i created a flat brush and on the bottom i used 2 polls to get the height i wanted. make sure that the platfor is as high as you want it to go... and the polls reach the botom floor.. select all brushes and right click in 2d window. make it a funct platform.. and thats it... the platform will be on bottom floor after you compile it... i guess it needs to be in the extended position for lighting purposes... _____________ | | --------------------- || || || || -- in lamens terms from the top to the bottom of the picture is how far i want it to go up... at least this is how i messured it... edit:ahh that sucks...dman thing screwed up my pretty picture!!! damn forum doesnt work half the time and works for **** when its up.
