Silvermane
The original Exar Kun from Dark Horse Comics looks far darker and overbearing than the model skinned from "Jedi Trainer". Also, the Exar Kun Lightsaber, although well done, is not the most organic looking one. The picture in the first "Essential Guide to Characters" as well as the comics has him holding his Master's saber, which looks like a piece of dark coral, very nice. I wanted to know if you skin a lightsaber from one angle or more...? Also, I want to make a true Exar Kun model, but I have no software for modeling (good software) and I can't afford it. Perhaps some one else can help by modeling it. I would like to make the skin but I really don't care where credit goes, I just want a skin of the coral lightsaber and the Exar Kun character. All the model requires is a guy with long warrior-like hair and a cape. Aside from that it's all skinning. This is involved I know, but the best things come with involved wrapping. Could somebody help me with this please...?

Silvermane
well in that case I will simply make a skin of the lightsaber, hence my first question, I have never skinned sabers before, for the hilt do I skin only one angle or...? And the blade is what... a shader?
