AnakinSWG Posted June 1, 2002 Posted June 1, 2002 I can't get any textures, the editor won't let me preview them or place them.
Manquesa Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 r u talking about custom textures or the ones that came with the game?
RichDiesal Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 As in, when you go to the Textures menu there's nothing below "Texture Window Scale"?
AnakinSWG Posted June 2, 2002 Author Posted June 2, 2002 1)In the prview window they show up as white and go on as white. 2)Nethier have worked yet
RichDiesal Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 They show up as white? So you actually have a big selection of textures down there, you just can't see them?
AnakinSWG Posted June 2, 2002 Author Posted June 2, 2002 they load as white too. It is just big white boxes.
RichDiesal Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 Erm... hmm. Â So you can load saay... the Bespin textureset? And you can see texture names like "basic" "basic2" "basic6" "botton" "botton_on2" "bottondroid"and yet they are all solid white? Are they different shapes or all just little boxes?
AnakinSWG Posted June 2, 2002 Author Posted June 2, 2002 maybe one are two are little but the rest are big.
Xcom Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 I actually have this problem too in GTK (only rarely, thank god). I think it's GFX card issue. Get the latest drivers.
Xcom Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 How would I know. Go to the manufacturer's site. If you have GeForce, TNT2, TNT, go to http://www.nvidia.com
RichDiesal Posted June 2, 2002 Posted June 2, 2002 Windows 9x: Open your Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel. Expand the Display Adapter listing and see what manufacturer and card is listed. Â Windows 2k/XP: Open your Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel. Double-click System. Click the Hardware Tab. Click the Device Manager Button. Expand the Display Adapter listing and see what manufacturer and card is listed. Â Go to the manufacturer's website (http://www.ati.com, http://www.hercules.com, http://www.3dfx.com, etc). Click on something named "Support" or "Drivers" and download them there.
