BradFu
Hey that looks cool! Is it just me, or does he have a cool little goatee? Hope you succeed in this. One suggestion (and this can go for anyone working on robed figures). You might consider making two surfs for the hood, one up, one down, just for some variety I think hood down or no cloak at all are the two logical styles for fighting. Keep up the good work! BradFu! Absath
well i can tell you just from looking at it, that you are going to encounter some ugly clipping issues, and im not even the modeler in my team other than that...what is it you need help with? -Abs
ddragon64
animation questions really. whats the best way to go about animating the robe? i was wondering if you and bloodriot animated the cloak on your new character? i also know that i need to attach the robe to the body at some point. so, at what point should the robe be separated from the body? it looks as though on your model it separates at the hips. i feel if im going to do this, might as well do it right. i dont want to make the robe one piece because it looks like hes wearing a dress. fyi, i was going to make two versions. one with the hood up and one down. also im working with the kyle model just to get a ruff idea of what its going to look like. so the goatee is actually kyles beard. im going to make a new model(make the robe more flowing, 86 the beard), after i get through this to make a qui gon and ben model. thanks dragon ps thanks for the spell check item;)
Absath
animating the robe would require ownership and knowledge of Softimage. -Abs
smeagol6566
it looks better than anything i could do, i'll say that. but in my opinion, it looks like abraham lincoln with a cape and hood.
