CCMCornell Posted June 3, 2002 Posted June 3, 2002 I've been looking at the new SW flying games on the consoles and have been in envy. I was seriously considering purchasing one of the consoles to get the Jedi or Rogue Squadron games, but realized with my budget and one more year of school, PC games will have to hold me over. That's when I came across X-Wing Alliance. Though it's older, it looks like fun and reviews have been good. So, if I go to EB and drop $10 on it, will I have fun? Is there still a multiplayer community for this game?
Keyan Farlander Posted June 3, 2002 Posted June 3, 2002 Yeah, but you'll want to pick this one up for the single player. It's one of my favorites. It has its problems, but I'd reccomend it.
K_Kinnison Posted June 3, 2002 Posted June 3, 2002 for SP and the flexability (all that it has) of the simulators it is definatly worth the $10. Tho the replay value is limited. I might suggest after buying a copy of XWA go over to http://www.xwaupgrade.com and download all the new models you can. SOmetimes, using the XWA mod, you almsot forget you are playing a game, b/c it looks so movie like
