Mazellion Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 I have a question: I've been able to join games from my computer behind my Linksys router (BEFSR41) by opening the required ports. Now, there's another computer behind the NAT. Is there a way for the other computer to play Jedi Outcast over the Internet if I'm playing from mine? (same server or not)
torowa-sdg Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 Yes. Have one computer use port 28070 and the other use port 28070. Both computers will need shortcuts with the phrase "set net_port 2807x" in the target line (replace x with 0 or 1 as above). Forward the ports appropriately on the router and you should be good to go.
Mazellion Posted June 24, 2002 Author Posted June 24, 2002 Do I need to tell the router to open all ports for both PC's? What what do you mean by target line? The command line?
