Jedi SuperBuen
I used the keyboard to do basically everything... I have A S D F G H as quick keys for the common force powers... Crl to shoot, Z X C all the same as the normal settings (secondaru weapons, jump, crouch). I use the mouse to aim. ------------------ Master of Puppets, I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind, smashing your dreams...

Jedi SuperBuen
Isn't weird how we all play the same game, but we play it all so differently? I used to push shift for running when I just started playing the game but now I'm on auto-fun all the time, so that way I can use those fingers for force or somethin' ------------------ Master of Puppets, I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind, smashing your dreams... Guest Garindan
it is kindof cool. I use those same controls for all my other 1st person controls too! well, except for the x-wing series.
Guest paulbarnard
The X-Wing Series isn't a FPS thought. It's a flight simulator (or properly a space combat simulator). It is technically an action game (as are FPS) but it drifts more to the line of Flight Sims.
Guest TheSaint
here are what my controls USED to be, when i had both CD's and could play... up/down arrows-move forward back left/right arrows-strafe right mouse button-jump left mouse button-fire 1 3rd button-fire 2 most of my Force powers were hotkeyed to the number pad, with the ones i used the most nearer to the arrow keys so i could reach them quicker
Guest Garindan
yeah i kinda forgot the difference between a flight sim and a shooter. descent was the shooter, but you're in a ship, which was kinda like a part flight simulator and part 1st person shooter. Guest Kurgan
but now I'm on auto-fun all the time, so that way I can use those fingers for force or somethin' So that's why I've been playing these games for all these years, I must have gotten the 'auto-fun' key stuck. ; ) Kurgan
Guest oninosensi
Man, I had my auto-fun key hotkeyed to the wrong one, thanks for informing me about it. the game is a lot better now. ------------------ "I see", said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw. Jedi SuperBuen
LOL!!! You mean you guys didn't know about this?! It's the best option of the game. Each time you go near a stormtrooper, he whips out a bottle of champagne and dances the macarena. It also makes Mara Jade drunk all the time, but that part ain't that great 'cause she keeps bitching about how Luke never does dishes and laundry now that they're married and all... Auto-fun baby... can't play the game with out it!!! ------------------ You can do it your own way Just as long as it's done just how I say...
