Archmv04
Can any one get me a actual pick of Windus saber Hilt?
Havoc Stryphe
There was some conspiracu surrounding Mace Windu's saber hilt due to soem differences in Promotional pictures and the hilt shown in movie. Here's a photo of all known jedi Lightsabre hilts made after Episode 1, so blade colors were not known at the time for some of the other Jedi Council members' blades: Here's his two different hilts: and comparison shots that conflicted leading to the conspiracy: TWO images of Master WINDU on the left, from STARWARS Insider #43 ... on the right from EPISODE1 Visual Dictionary clearly, colour balance and sabre-hilt aside, they are the SAME photo! ONE OF THESE PHOTOS HAS BEEN ADJUSTED BY AN OFFICIAL SOURCE ! TWO MACE WINDUS? What is happening here? The image on the left is from STARWARS Insider #43 (SWI:43) The Image on the right is from LucasBooks/DorlingKindersly's new EPISODE 1 the VISUAL DICTIONARY (TPM:VD) Careful examination of the two images reveals that the TPM:VD image has been doctored ... the shadows cast by the sabre hilt do not match as cleanly as the SWI:43 image and when the colour balance of the TPM:VD image is adjusted to more closely resemble that of the earlier SWI:43 image, the sabre hilt suddenly looks very very blue and fake! Further, the TPM:VD hist seems to be a photo-montage (with varying shades of chrome and grey) taken from a selection of OTHER sabres ..... also, interestingly, the hilt seen on Windu's hip is in EXACTLY the same orientation as the close up photo! ... something has been changed here..... the question is WHY? ... Close up images of the two sabre hilts. The TPM:VD image on the right has had its colour balance adjusted to more closely resemble that of the SWI:43 note how blue and fake the sabre hilt now looks! ... NOTE ALSO how the shadows on the left are far more convincing and how the sabre on the right is conveniently JUST big enough to cover all of the 'original' image's sabre! OFFICIAL COMIC-BOOK EXPLANATION! The first of the DARK HORSE Comic series "EMMISSARIES TO MALASTARE" has a curious exchange between Jedi Masters Mace WIndu & Eeth Koth. The official line is now that during the events of STARWARS Episode1 The Phantom Menace, Master Mace Windu was using a sabre that belonged to Master Eeth Koth. This was apparently in accord with a traditional exchange of vows of friendship between Jedi. Master Koth returns to Windu the sabre which is now associated with him, the maulish one with the cone-shaped butt. Hope that Helped!

Jaster21801
if you know what you're doing itz not all that hard... and now I can't remember the sites with the "recipes" so people just have to look for em... The materials used cost at most half of the price for a replica...
