jnewl Posted June 8, 2002 Share Posted June 8, 2002 OK, first off I think I have a bad disc. The game took about twenty minutes to install--about eighteen more than it should have on my rig. However, it did install completely (as far as I know) with no errors, and other than the problem I'm about to describe it plays fine. The problem is that some of my saved games won't load. I get a checksum error. This happens quite often with the quiksave particularly, forcing me to back way up to my last regular save or a checkpoint. Needless to say, this is pissing me off royally, since I'm an older gamer and I'm having trouble handling the hordes of bad guys the game is throwing at me anyway. So my question is, does anyone here know what the problem is and can it be fixed? I'm playing with the latest patch installed. Thanks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
