RyderX
I have a GeForce 2 MX 400 graphics card, I know that the demos at the E3 show were run on a GeForce 3, will I have to upgrade my graphics card to play SWG?
setsuko
No hardware requirements are released, but since they claim that it will be playable on "what is considered low-end machines by the second half of 2002", a GeForce 2 should do pretty OK. Gaelin Masek
Ha, would be just our luck if by the that time a 'lower grade PC' would be a 1GHz processor + GeForce 3..
Gaalgoth
no......low-end will robably be like a 500. they really mean low end most likely.....not like microsoft low end.
setsuko
After all, the second part of 2002 starts now. And yes, a low end machine would be somewhere around 500MHz when it comes to new games right now.
RoyalGuard
Regardless of the minimum spec, having seen the screen shots and the features they use on the terrain, I strongly suggest purchasing a Geforce 3 (or a good GeForce 4 if your wallet stretches that far). The extra features on the GF 3 will significantly decrease the load on your processor, giving you a faster and (presumably) more enjoyble gaming experience.
