Should the Ssi-ruuk be in a GB xpack?

I agree, they would be a major project. I doubt that they will be in the first expansionpack. I think it's more likely that the Chiss, Nohgri, Yuuzhhan Vong, Mon Calmari, or Ewoks will be in the first expansion. :)

Actually, in the "Truce at Bakura" it says that they simply send down shuttles to release a paralyzing canisters that can paralyze and 8 km square. then they just go and pick up the victims. It also says the same thing in the essintial guide i think.

Most People don't know enough about some of those civs, namely the Chiss, Noghri, and Vong. Plus the Vong are just to idiotic of a civ. Also The Ewoks are WAY too primitive! What kind of super weapons or siege weapons would they have? The Trandoshans and the Mon Cal would be the best for the first x-pak plus the Geonosians, Kaminoans, and maybe either a Clone civ, the Commerce guild or the Rodians, or the Grans, or Sullustans, or the Hutts, or Black Sun.

I agree, the best for the x-pack (so far) are the Mon Cal and the Trandoshans, I also would like to see the Geonosians.

Though like I've said before, there should be Battlegrounds 2: The Expanded Universe with :

-The Vong

-Chiss

-Black Sun

-Bothans

-Mandalorians

-Massassi

To tell the truth the Ssi-ruuk, Hutts, Black Sun, and the Vong probably have a better chance of being a playable civ then the Trandoshans, Mol Cals, Rodians, and the Grans.

(sorry)

The vong should never be in GB! and a lot of people know about the bothans, plus the massassi shouldn't be in a game b/c they're long extinct!

Have they been in any book other than Truce of Bakura? If not then I'd say they're too minor to bother putting them in. It's not whether you want them in the x-pac, it's whether you would rather have them in there over another race.

And why do people keeping thinking there will be only one x-pac? The possiblilty of getting more than one is rather low. Having more than one x-pac has gone out of fashion lately. Who knows if we'll even get one?

Here is the reason why the Vong, Norghi, Chiss, and Ssi Ruuk will not be in the X-pac.

1. It tailors itself to the major SW fans who have read the books.

2.Economics. These are not major civs, and are not widly known to most people who just like SW, but not that much. LA would put in civs that those people would reconize (as such they would pic civs like the Mon Cal, Trans, Sullustains, and Episode 2 civs) Ones that many people know and would pay to play.
