Prime Posted June 10, 2002 Share Posted June 10, 2002 If you add another "entry" into the npcs.cfg file, and add the appropriate models and so on, can you spawn custom npcs in singleplayer? etherealsilk Posted June 10, 2002 Share Posted June 10, 2002 I tried to do this about a month ago but ran into a problem. It would spawn the wrong character and have the wrong weapon when I would spawn anyone. I tried asking people for help here in the editing forum but got no help and so I just went back to replacing npc's. Hope you have better luck then me. yoda101280 Posted June 16, 2002 Share Posted June 16, 2002 you should be able to do it if you make a new bot, just copy and edit the necessary parts of the bot file rename it to match your new bot and place the file in the proper folder, note i've never tried this but theoretically it should work, i'm more into level design than bot editing.
