Hmm, never "Mittel" means Base???

 

Never heard of that... But what do I know :D

 

"Verlassener Stuetzpunkt" would be the right translation (only to avoid the word "Basis"- sounds too english ;) )

 

But after all- it's your map, so you can name it however you like :)

Oooh, I really like the screenshots. Your levels have a lot of style and atmosphere to them. If you're ever bored and looking for map ideas, let me know, I've got some SP ideas I'm hoping to eventually do, if I can ever learn to map properly :) The style of your maps would be perfect for part of the SP mod.

It's alittle... bright in some areas? o.O

 

I'm also wondering, are some areas of your map underwater? (fully submerged that is) - it just seems that way, still 'nice' looking level, has a great atmosphere!! :thumbsup:

- It's possible its my pc screen, but your map changes between lighting too drastically - might want to work on that and make it flow alittle better.

Light spots from no where? Which are you referring too? All light sources have a lighting structure in the map that I know of.

 

The lighting difference you are referring to is spaced out fairly well I feel. The bright part you showed is leading into the indoor area which requires brightness as outside its meant to be dark and gloomy. The screenshots do however make them darker than they actually are :)

 

The water feel you are getting is from the fog I think. I know another person asked if thats what it was for the duel version of the map.
