Model sounds: How and what format?

I have a custom taunt for Leia, and was planning to use Jan's sounds for the rest, and I tweaked the regular Jan sounds to be more Boushh like, mechanized and lower, and have them in what SEEMS to be the right format and nothing. It just plays the male sounds.

Any suggestions?

Hi there,

The original audio WAV files need to be at 16bit/44.1 khz mono. Then encoded into MP3 at 64 bitrate, variable, 44.1khz, mono. You can go higher with the bitrate, but it increases the file size. The lowest I could go was 64/variable and still get it recognized ingame.

Then, depending on whether you are designing a custom npc soundset or replacing a current npc's sounds, you need to give each MP3 file the proper name to be called upon by the game (ie, the exact same name as the Jan file your replacing), and placed within the proper pathname/folder in your PK3.

Hope that helps.
