Weelll...If you played the previous two you'd know that the storyline kinda continues from them into JK2...and apparently they decided not to call it Dark Forces 3 because they liked the sound of Jedi Knight 2 better. And anything with the number 3 in the title is always jinxed (second sequels...have we ever seen a good one other than this game?). On a side note - An expansion pack may mean a sneakily released patch for all those who want it!

Besides, without Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, I can assure you, the only similarity between Dark Forces and Jedi Knight II, would be the main characters..

KOTOR as far as I can see from the reviews and the videos I've seen..... It doesnt look like a online game....... Also KOTOR gives you the option on who you what to play.. e.g = A bounty Hunter, Sith, Jedi, Han Solo style charater.... Theres 6 types of charaters you can play........ KOTOR is more of a RPG that a JK game. Theres a lot of talking involved plus the Saber fighting is a lot more inteness.... e.g...... thes no button bashing to get your move out as from what I can see you should have several buttons for the attack with a saber to be able to pull off. Also there's some rather complex combos to pull off also.........
Chewie Bakker Posted June 19, 2002 Posted June 19, 2002 I don't think Jedi Knight 3, Jedi Outcast 2, Jedi Master, or whatever-you-want-to-call-it will be out for a while yet. I'd like to see a game where you play as a Jedi in their prime, perhaps set in the time before Phantom Menace. Maybe even set just before TPM and you get to play as Darth Maul. Knights of the Old Republic looks interesting, though... Pedro the Hutt: Rurouni Kenshin rocks!
