DarthVenom
If (and thats a BIG IF) George Lucas made more films after EP III, would you prefer to see them set after ROTJ or before TPM?
MotionMan
He wont. But iIF he did them , after ROTJ. It would be amusing watching Lucas contridict the EU guys. Besides if he did make more movies before ep.1- They would be pretty boring. The galaxy was pretty much at peace before AFM.
DarthVenom
I was just thinking it would be cool if you saw yoda being trained/discovering the force etc... Dont know if the sith were around much during this kinda period? Maybe not... I to would like to see something set after ROTJ, maybe they could tie it in with some of the stuff in the Jedi Knight Computer Games... like Luke Skywalkers Jedi Academy etc.. Agree, Lucas will be bored of starwars after 6 films, maybe he'll sell the rights in the future? (not for at least 10 years after EP III comes out i dont think though)
JoelStoklosa
I dont think Lucas could handle all the changes that take place after the fall of the Empire. The New Republic,The jedi Academy and the Yuuzhan Vong invasion!thats just a whole new can of worms to open. P.S. the Empire does not hold a candle to the might of the Yuuzhan Vong! The New Republic and Imperial Remnant fighting side by side against the Yuuzhan Vong would be something to see! ET Warrior
Just think of the riots those EU junkies would start if Lucas came out with movies past RotJ and they clearly said that the Yuuzhan Vong never invade...........i would laugh and laugh...... Now don't get me wrong, i love EU and i read many many books..i'm a big fan of the New Jedi Order.....but don't connect them with the movies, because they're separate entities. And yes Lucas could handle the changes.....because he can do whatever he darn well pleases.....he is star wars, not the book authors. If he says that luke doesn't make a jedi academy...no jedi academy.... If he says that the Yuuzhan Vong are not real....they aren't real. Sorry. Norin Radd
I would like to see the Sith War in the pre-Episode I era, with Exar-Kun and Nomi Sunrider. In the post-ROTJ era, I would want to see when Luke falls to the Dark Side and Leia Organa Solo dueling with him to bring him back. That would be excellent. Alas, Mr. Lucas has said that after Episode III, he will be done with the SW saga. We'll always have the 6 Episodes to savor and pass on to our children. . .ah, nostalgia. :D
kwakkie
heh, after ROTJ would be sweet, it can be done... Jedi Outcast story takes place after ROTJ and it still seems very... possible(although the story isnt that amazing) But... should the story feature a new (jedi?) character and NO more skywalkers/solos??? HellFyre69
i would be awesome to watch the sith war... But i dont lucas will make one... I think ep3 is the last movie that he'll make in the sw saga
The Vehicular Jedi
I think Lucas should quit while he's ahead. Once EpIII is done, then the series will be complete. I mean, he struggled enough with keeping the prequels from falling into an oblivion of kiddie/cheesy mush (Jar Jar, "Yipee", "I love you truly, deeply" etc.) Don't get me wrong, EpI and EpII are great movies in their own right, but as George grows in age, I doubt his outlook is going to be getting any better. The Star Wars series has reached its end. We don't want to end up like the Star Trek movies, now do we?
