Whats the difference?

 

Are they both just compiled from the release source code?

Are they both server side or is it just 1.03a thats server side?

Im running the 1.03+ mod and i really am starting to like it. Is there a difference between these three?

there is no 1.04 yet. the only thing we have is the source code that tells us this version number: 1.03a

its still buggy tho. but we enjoy it and have mods done for it...

There is an "unofficial" 1.04 mod, which is the Raven code compiled as-is and released as a mod. The link to the download is found in a thread on the MP message board.

 

Its being referred to by the authors as the u104 mod.

As said before: 1.03a = 1.04 (just named that way to get more attention and be better recognized by everyone as the 'inoffical patch')

 

1.03a+ Basically the same as 1.03a/1.04 but with two changes:

- throw needs more force power and does less damage

 

- Kick does 9 damage (in 1.03a+ v0.6 [not publicly released yet, as there was no positive feedback] kick damage is removed completely]).

 

I thought it balanced gameplay out greatly, but others didn't think so i guess.
