greydog
hey, i've had my dedicated server for over 2 months, its duels only, force jump, attack, throw only, gravity set at 777, running on windows 2000 512mb pc2100 ram on a high speed cable connection. i am behind a linksys router with the firewall set. the dedicated server is working, people join the game, even though it gets a bit laggy at sometimes, but mostly its fine. at night, i, like most people, go to sleep. here is my problem. when i wake up in the morning, the server is down. the dedicated window closes for some reason, and i dont really know why. i need one of 2 things. either a way so the server doesnt shut down for no reason or a script that will start it back up if it does shut down. thanks p.s. the server is: 24.27.65.96:27080 webpage: http://www.skool-daze.org laterz
TheAphextwin
Hi, If running under windows you can use a tool called ServerDoc to monitor and restart your server should it go down.
Cedrin
Or you could just make an easy batch file to reload the game whenever it closes. Read the FAQ thread it has it somewhere.

TheAphextwin
If you are using Jedi Runner do this, 1. After setting all required options and maps export a batch file alond with your cfg's. 2. Install ServerDoc 3. Setup ServerDoc to use that batch file. If you are using the server messaging functionality of Jedi Runner it may fail if the server goes down and then restarts, not sure have never tested it. Hope this helps.
