mez1109
Anakin is not really evil in my eyes. He just doesn't know how to control his feelings, and reacts wrongly. If he was really on the side of the Sith, he would not have saved Luke form the Sith Lord. Also in SW2 he return for his mother, and tries to save her. The phsycho killing was because of anger, that is the point where he can't control himself. He also makes wrong decisions, when Padme falls of the helicopter, he wants to rescue her first and Obi Wan talks him out of it. Even though the only reason Obi Wan is alive, is because Anakin didn't listen to any of the orders given by the Jedi council. Everyone says that Jedis are supposed to have no attachment etc. Yoda while fighting Count Dooku, instead of aiming on only defeating Dooku (as he has the plans of the Death Star, even if Yoda doesn't know, he still is a danger, as Obi Wan points out to Anakin). He gives up on fighting Dooku to save Obi & Ani. Anakin hasn't learnt to control his feelings properly, but Yoda has, the rules can be broken in cetain situations. DarthVenom
Tell that to all the guys he choked to death! Seriously i dont think hes evil in EPII, just frustrated and grief stricken... although i think that shot of his robotic arm at the end when hes marrying Padme is a signal that this is real the beginning of his long slide into DV... the combination of what then happens to him in EPIII + spending 20 years as 2/3 machine manifesting bitter memories & resentment of his life in the jedi make him into what we see in EPIV. Then when he discovers Luke the part of him resurfaces which we saw in II when he was with Padme, and to a certain extent thinking about his mother.. love. In many ways his attempts to convert Luke to the DS are much like him trying to convince Padme to have a relationship + when he slaughters the TR's in II and Slaughters Palpatine in VI.. well IMO anyway
ET Warrior
Even though the only reason Obi Wan is alive, is because Anakin didn't listen to any of the orders given by the Jedi council. I seem to recall Anakin doing approximately nothing for obi-wan really, i mean....he did have the Reek there so obiwan could get a ride on it.....but the Jedi were there to save him.....I suppose you could say that if he didn't defy the council he wouldn't have been there to make that giant leap to save dooku from killing obi wan, however, obi wan might not have tried to fight dooku had anakin not been there....as obi knew dooku was tougher than him.... mez1109
Anakin becomes a Sith for all the wrong reasons. He thinks if he becomes more powerful then other Jedis with the Sith, he can save peoples lives, like his mother's. As Anakin can NEVER fergive himself, he becomes unforgiving to other people, thinking that every wrong thing done is evil. Over the years he will become so unfergiving that he chokes anyone that does anything wrong. The same reason Darth saves Luke, he won't allow himself to fail to save someone he loves again, so he kills the Sith Lord to save Luke nad sacrefices himself as well.
