Darth Torgo Posted June 21, 2002 Posted June 21, 2002 I know this is a simple idea and not very creative, but has anyone considered making a simple hangar or landing pad level that showcases all of the cool ships (Raven's and fan-made) that we have for Outcast? I see the pictures of them over at Jedi Outcast Maps and would like to get a closer look--a big FFA level sounds like a good excuse, no? Just an idea... - DT
DividedByZero Posted June 21, 2002 Posted June 21, 2002 I started to make a museum of ships. So yes, I actually got pretty far too, made the lobby and started the big rooms. It would be just like the smithsonian w/ ships hanging from cables above, and on props.
alienprotein Posted June 21, 2002 Posted June 21, 2002 Well I got some nice stuff gunna be in my ffa/duel map Imperial Repair bay. Plenty of Tie Fighters, tie pieces, a shuttle, some droids, probe droid parts and other eye candy, not a museum though. But with any luck it will have a star Destroyer in it somewhere. Now I would like to swap models with people to see what we all have for our maps. For instance I have been racking my brain trying to get this Imperial Gunboat to export as an Md3. Anyone else got cool models like that. I have a bunch I have not converted, but am working on it. Tie Interceptor, Tie Defender, Vader’s tie, Etc, etc. Prefabs would also be cool to talk about. And I do under stand that there is another thread fir modeling, but remember that maps get models too. And they always seem to only talk about character modeling, and not ships N Stuff.
