[RAA]-=Chi3f=- Posted June 21, 2002 Posted June 21, 2002 We recently installed JO2 on a friends laptop with poor results. As soon as the game starts, we get the BLUE screen of death! After using various methods (NoCD fix, win updates), we finally gave it up. Do we need the newest driver from the manufacturer or what? I appreciate your reply. PS. It's a brand new DELL laptop with a GeForce4. Thanx
CagedCrado Posted June 22, 2002 Posted June 22, 2002 It must have windows XP right? i didnt know you could get the blue screen of death on xp, atleast i never have. Also a geforce 4 is just a geforce three with duel monitor support, i dont know why they even made it.

I have had the dreaded BLUE SCREEN of death a couple times, usally due to something else. His laptop, though, would crash as soon as the load screen finished. Everytime this happened no matter how much we've tweaked it. We've tried two different copies of JK2 just to see if it would work, but it hasn't. I think it must be his drivers for his DELL.
