Atominist
OK I downloaded the 1.03 patch, then when I installed it the process crashed. Both the SP and MP would not boot after this, so I copied and pasted the exe's and dll's, etc over the "patched" files so at least the game would boot. But then the patch installation would report that it couldn't find the directory, funny that as the patch said it would put the 1.03 readme in the directory I installed the game. I have herd of this problem with other people and the only way they could solve this was to install to the default directory. Now my directory is different to the default one so hopefuly there's a work-around for this problem. Any body else had this problem? Is the default directory the only one you can install the patch too? Thanks for your time.
Rackemup
I have a similar problem... I installed JO to C:\Games\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast and it worked fine. As soon as I installed the 1.03 patch I can no longer play single player because it complains it cant find the game files in C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\blahblah during the initializing process. I've gone through the settings files, even the registry and I cant find anything that points to that directory. Did someone hardcode that into the patch??? Who's testing these things before they go out the door?? I dont want to install the game to the default directory just so I can play SP, are there any workarounds?
