Jedi_Monk
I know this doesn't have anything to do with SW2... but has anyone ever noticed that the track that wraps up Episode I, "Augie's Great Municipal Band", is very similar to "The Emperor's Throne Room" from Jedi? The notes seem to be almost exactly the same, only with Augie, it's speeded up and played on different instruments. If I'm right, and not just imagining things, it just goes to prove that Lucas and Williams are geniuses! I mean, they're seeding this joyful celebration (a lot of people thought it was too joyful when the movie first came out, I remember) with this awesome, subtle foreshadowing of what's to come! FunClown
You are correct. A lot of people don't actually realize the effect that instrumentation can have on a song. When writing music very careful consideration has to be made. It can either make or break a song. Imagine that last tune with instead of kids voices an Oboe or better yet an English horn as in Across the Stars.
