Need help with getting model ingame. I just can't make it work. Please help!

I've been through this whole process over and over and over and

over and over and over and over and over and over and over and

over and over and over. And I still can't get this f*cking model in

the game. I even sent it over to someone else to try to get it in

the game. He couldn't do it either. I just can't understand this

modeling stuff at all. I need someone else to get the model in

the game. Please! I'm begging you! Please! Would someone just

take the 2 model files I have to get it ingame? Would just one

person on this website try to be reasonable?

I really want this model ingame. I've taken plenty of time to learn

the modeling process. I just can't do it. And please don't have a

"have patience" reply on this thread. I don't care who requests

the model to get it ingame just as long as they get it ingame.

I really don't care if SithLord{II} or someone else gets it done.

Please just at least one person reply to this post and say they

want the model. The model is already done, it's already been

optimized as well. All you have to do is get the rest done. Oh yeah

by the way the name of the player model is D and here is a picture as well if you don't know who my player model is.

Oh yeah the sword you saw on his back in that picture is not

there anymore in the .max and .3ds files. I also changed the cape

as well. He still looks cool though.

Would someone please just consider trying to get it ingame for

me? And to tell you what the problem is, I can't because I can't

really specify what the problem is. It's like I fix the first problem

and somehow more and more and more and more and more and

more and more and more and more and more and more errors

that just don't make any sense at all occur.Learning this stuff is like

trying to stack marbles on top of one another. It just seems so

hard and impossible.

Anyway I just don't seem to grasp the concept of the process of

getting models ingame. This all seems like one big f*cking

nightmare. It just needs to come to an end.

D, you really need to learn to control your temper. I can understand that you are frustrated - I'm sure most people would be in your situation. In the future please make an effort to take a few deep breaths before you start laying emotionally charged posts onto us. Your frustration may be over the difficulties regarding the modeling process, but your posts make you come across as a whining child. The community has people that are here to help. The point is to avoid annoying people right off the bat - it defeats the purpose of asking for help if you only end up making people upset at you.

This is all offered constructively, so please don't think I'm inviting a flame war.

That sounds kinda over the top.

I just started all over againj too. But I'm starting off from the point where the model, skin & caps are done.

I guess I'll start with the linking and than the skeleton terror :)

The pic of your skinned model looks sweet. Don't see why u wanna do it again.

If it's any help to you D, I would like to offer a small tip that some people overlook. When building your model make certain to save to a new filename after every few hours. Sometimes it will be necessary to backtrack in the modeling process. God knows it has certainly helped me on occasion when I turn the wrong edge or delete a vertex that I really needed.

This way if when you have finally rebuilt your excellent looking Vampire Hunter model you still have problems - at least you won't have to fully rebuild it yet a third time.

Small consolation I know, but hopefully helpful.

dude DON'T GIVE UP!!! At the most delete everything except for the mesh and skin (which is beautiful by the way. sniff sniff). i.e. delete the skeleton and tags and attach all the parts into one mesh. Then from there create your caps and rename the parts. Then import the skeleton and caps, blah blah I'm sure you get the idea. Hope that helps.
