Help, multiple errors!

I just bought the game Jedi Knight 2, but cannot get it to play...

I'll tell you about the errors first, then my system specs.

The first error happens when I first try to load the game, and I'm wondering if it ties in to my second error.

After I click the "single (or multi) player game" button, I get a pop up error than says the following:

"Low Desktop Color Depth

It is highly unlikely that a correct windowed display can be initialized with the current desktop display depth. Select 'ok' to try anyway. Select 'cancel' to try full screen mode."

No matter which choice I select, the "log box (or whatever you call it)" pops up with the infamous

GLW_Start Open GL ()- could not load OpenGL subsytem.

Here is the entire log (sorry it is so long, but I have to post it):

I have looked at many faqs pertaining to this subject, and read many posts, but nothing seems to work.

I exceed the minimum requirements, and have passed all of the Direct X diagnostic tests... Here are my sytem specs:

RAM= 127 MB

OS= Windows ME

CPU= 797 MH

Direct X= 8.1

Display Adapter= Primary Display Driver

Hard Drive Space= 10366 MB

My driver device is:

Intel® 82810E Graphics Controller

It had ~5.5 MB of memory, and the display mode is 800x600(24 bit)(optimal refresh rate)

Here is my driver information:

Main Driver: i81xdw9x.drv

Version: 4.12.01.2570

Signed: yes

Mini VDD: i81x.vxd

VDD: *vdd,*vflatd

All of my direct x features are enabled.

I thought that my driver was updated when I did the "Windows Update Online" thing, but I'm thinking that the first five letters of my driver version may be the date it was "issued." I really know nothing about this all though...

I just know that my system far exceeds the minimum requirements, yet I can't play the game...

I have tried finding updated drivers at intel's homepage too, but that was to no avail...

Any help, however small, would be appreciated...

If anyone can find a link to Intel's latest driver download, then I'd appreciate that too.

PS: I looked at microsoft's homepage under the game problems section, and it said that Intel's 82810 driver has had no problems running the game.

Mine does...
