Do you have any other First Person Shooters Legacy_Of_Sith?

I personally like JKIIJO a lot! It's a great game. The third person view when you use your lightsaber is fantastic and really gives you a sense of what's going on and of space and freedom to move. Most of the weapons are fun and average to good compared to other FPS games but off course, nothing beats the lightsaber. :D

While it's mostly a close range weapon you do have the 'secondary fire' of saber throw which allows you to throw your saber at an opponent and call it back to your hand with the Force. Awesome. The lightsaber combat styles are fun and practical. The best part is that you can use to block most (not all) incoming blasterfire. :D

The more you progress through the game the more your Force Powers will grow and your lightsaber skills improve, this sytem makes the game very fun, entertaining and realistic.

And you get to Force choke and Force lightning people! Yah!!! :evil2: (While still staying a good guy. ;) )

By the time you finish the game and get annoyed or tired with anything you can download lots of cool new maps, skins, combat mods, lightsaber mods from sites like jediknightii.net :)

Hey ET Warrior? How did you insert Plo Koon in the Single Player mode?

Did it not create any bugs or so (surfaces, skins and all), and isn't it freaky for the texts and dialogue and all? :p

I wouldn't feel too bad about that 56k thing if I was you, I have cable so I have the bandwith, but everytime I try to play JKIIJO online my computer will clog up and freeze. I think this old PIII and 16MB Riva TNT can't handle JKIIJO online with so many players. :p I'll have to get me a new comp sometime. :p

I only have 1 fps right now. I'm much more of an RTS fan. I also like some fighting games. Did anyone ever play Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi for ps1? That's my fave fighting game ever.

Is the saber vs. saber combat good for Jk2? Does it have a cinematic feel?

I wouldn't rank it as my favorite fighting game ever, but it was fun. I think maybe if they redid it using more current technology it would be even better (besides, it would give them a chance to toss in characters from TPM and AotC).

I've also had fun playing Demolition...

the saber vs saber combat is excellent. There is strategy involved, you need to use the right style and combination of force powers to overcome your foes...

The Plo in single player works really well. He just sounds like Kyle, but looks like plo. the skin itself isn't that well done so he looks kind of goofy, but i also turned Jan into Boba Fett, and all the Weequays are now Darth Mauls, and the Grans are Jango fett and Rodians are darth vader, and stormtroopers are clonetroopers. If you want to know how to do it, i can try to explain it.......

I like RTS too, well I'm not really hooked into a genre to be honest, more into individual games. I love Age of Empires II : Age of Kings and The Conquerors, you never get tired of playing that game, the replayability is great! I just had to get Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds and Clone Campaigns expansion because it has the great AOEII engine and off course, it's Star Wars. ;)

The saber vs saber combat of JKIIJO can be hard to learn or hard to master at times. I still get beaten a lot, maybe I'm just not so talented at it. But once you get the moves and startegy straight, you'll do just fine.

My main problem is that I see in my mind what I want my character to do but it just doesn't do most of those moves. :p I'd need total free control over all the moves your player character could make and I think that's still to hard, at least without anything like those VR gloves and all. :p

But the style is good and your character will sometimes do automated things which will allow you to not get killed too much cause you were sloppy -ok, cause I am sloppy-. (Automatic blasterbolt and saber blocks and all. :) )

Hey ET Warrior, if you could give me a simple rundown I'd appreciate it! :D

Else is it explained somewhere on jediknightii.net or something? I do want to try and see what it gives if I'd insert Aayla as Kyle. Sure spices up those scenes with Jan! ;)

Is kind of a complicated process, but i'll do my best. Step one, download Pakscape. It's zipping software, you might be able to do it with winzip or such, but i'm not sure how. So download pakscape, search it out on the net.

Next, open pakscape, and open up the .pk3 file of the character you want to use. (your aayla skin.) Now save that file to your desktop as a Zip file.

Now unzip that file to your desktop, making a new file. That file w/ill probably be called Aayla or similar. Now open that file, and inside it will be a folder called Models. That is the only one you need, so delete the other ones. Now open the models file, and there will be a file called players. Open that and there will be the file called Aayla, and thats the only one you need, so delete the others.

Now rename the file that says Aayla to Kyle.

Now you need to make a new Compressed file. There should be an option if you rightclick on the desktop and select new-compressed folder.

Once you have your compressed folder, drag the Models file out of the Aayla folder into the compressed file.

Now rename your compressed file KyletoAayla.pk3 This should turn it into a pk3 file. Now put that file into your gamedata/base folder and run the game.

(i dont know if the Aayla skin works, i tried it, and was unsuccessful, but i can do it with all of my othe rskins........)

If you dont understand, or you cannot get it to work with any of your skins i can make the .pk3 file for you and send it to you online.

You should see MY scenes with Jan.......Plo Koon kissing Boba Fett

And i turned Luke into Krishara..the green Twi'Lek from the aayla skin pack.....:D

Yeah it'd be great if they made a sequel. Maul's 2 bladed sabre would be awesome! Ditto with Dooku's curved sabre.

You can get Darth Maul models/skins and Dooku models/skins, even for the double bladed lightsaber and for Dooku's curved -rapier- one! :)

I think though on jediknightii.net there's a site featured where fans are working on a total conversion to convert JKIIJO into the AOTC events with all the AOTC locations and characters. I haven't heard the latest news on it though, maybe worth checking out? ;)

How about your handle Smith? Though I'm a lil out of practice I'd love to play one or both of you sometime. Mine's "Venom" Red text and all...

Edit: Sorry if that's painful to look at for anyone.. I know it bugs my eyes a bit on this blue background... If anyone can't read it, it's Venom. Look around for me sometime if you want.

That is a BIG Project.

I hope is not one of those total conversions that never really happen in practise, as too many of those abandoned ideas excist.

I have seen a Aayala model, but have never seen a Plo Koon model, I think ET Warrior wants to get his hands on that.

I personnaly have played the whole game with the Darth Vader model, I love the voice, its just the cape that needs working.

I am not complaining, I think it is one of the best models, even the light on the Darth Suit blinks.

Well, i have a Plo Koon skin, it's pretty bad really. Notso well done. But a guy by the name of MisterPunch is in the process of making what looks to be a WONDERFUL and nearly perfect skin. Here's a link to show you how it looks so far......

http://members.cox.net/misterpunch/plotextest.jpg

(The funny colored neck and chest area are the unskinned model)

This link shows how the model looks unskinned...still very impressive http://www.pe.net/~shoemake/matt/images/shot7.jpg

No problem AgentSmith, glad i could be of help. For changing other characters, when you change the name of the player file (aayla was the one you used last time) Instead of changing it to kyle change it to Jan, Gran, Rodian, Stormtrooper, or Weequay to change said characters.

I was unable to change Desann to anyone, not certain why, and i haven't tried Tavion. Nor have i tried imperial officers...you could try it sometime if you wish and tell me the results.

Mine usually is plane AgentSmith, Agent Smith or Aayla Secura. :p (Ingeniuos and creative of me isn't it? )

I don't play online often though because I can only pick servers with a smal amount of people on it. An FFA server or CTF server with more than 10 players will just toally freeze and clog my computer up, and I do have cable. I think it's just this old PIII and 16MB TNT video card that aren't good enough to cut it in JKIIJO online multiplayer. :p

Plus so many servers don't have the mods I have installed on my copy, like the Aayla model/skin, Jedi Moves v2 and those great lightsaber mods ...

(Plus I suck, I always lose! :p) But I'll be sure to look around sometime. ;)

I do hope that total conversion comes through because it is indeed a big undertaking and it would be a shame if they had to drop because of lack of time or other problems. :(

That model looks just awesome ET Warrior! Amazing...

Maybe I will try to swith some other characters, I don't know. ;):p If I do I'll let you know how it ends up. :D
