Any honorable players out there?

The way you act in-game is a reflection of your real life. If you're disrespectful of people's customs and traditions (shaking someone's hand, engaging in small talk, "bowing" in this game's case) don't expect to get very far in-game and in life.

 

Life is also a game, if you will. If you can't play it right, and by the unwritten laws that are followed, you're setting yourself up for failure.

Its funny i should see this, because yesterday, i was in a dual with a guy called [soD]Impuls or something similar,

anyway the point was, as the dual started, id won my previous game (trial pit) and was facing him,

as usual i rolled off the platform, withdrew my saber, and crouched, i then proceeded to open the console to chat hi (he'd joined the game a min or so previous), i go tthe nasty shock of him bsing me.

 

the part that annoyed me was that i could easily of forgave him if he was a newbie and/or didnt know. but he then proceeded to do it to everyone he faced, clocking up about 5 kills,

 

i play honourable, and im not impressed with dishonerable players, fair enough its just a game, and your supposed to get on with it, but its curtious not to just rely on cheap kills, i dont mind losing to a skilled player,

but thats just annoying. (esp when the only move he was using was the red stance special, over and over... )

 

anyway i had my revenge, you cant beat a good sabering in the face

hmm you are well wrong there mind. I am a very well mannered business man, married with a kid, just 2 hours ago I was shaking the hand of a new client that I had struck up a great deal with, we had plenty of small talk and a nice coffee.

 

However, in game i am a ruthless git, bow before me and I will take off your head, I respect you all but that won't stop me from taking advantage of you

I consider myself to be the perfect gentleman in this game

 

I only play duel games cause everything else just sux

I bow, I don't chatfrag or attack someone with the saber down (unless they just stand there for god knows how long without giving me a reason)

 

I always ask for a no kick, and I usually get it from the people who know the way I play.

 

Cause if you don't abide by my rules... you die. Simple as that. If you kick me with intent, I kick back... and back and back and kick you straight to hell.

 

If you bs lame people constantly. I kill your sorry hide in the next by all means necessary to avenge them (I know that may sound corny).

 

And honor is a constant factor in life. You have it or you don't. Even if you are a businessman, you may still have no honor and just try to con the people around you by doing what you are saying. Drinking coffee with them and making general chit chat does not make you an honorable man outside of the game.
