the basic level structure looks good and interesting

 

but in some screenshots like the one with the gun turret where you look at a some enemies on the bridge you have less than 15 frames per second, which will be unplayable for most players

 

i would prefer to make some death counter

 

every time an enemy of a certain group is killed it sends a signal to a trigger that counts until 5 in example and then sends another signal to another trigger, which spawns new enemies

 

this way you'd avoid that the player will be overloaded with enemies action and performancewise

 

 

by the way, some hovering space ships/gliders (script controlled) would be awesome, and even better if you could destroy them with the gun turret
