I am using GTK and I selected ron's tools to make a polygon-but when I compile my map the player walks right through the round texture like a ghost thru walls. It's like a model with no invisible wall. Is there a way to change this to solid surface. Also can I add objectives to my level for instance if you to make it where the player could not exit a room or advance any further until a certain NPC is defeated? idontlikegeorge Posted June 30, 2002 Share Posted June 30, 2002 well im new to quake3 editing and never used gtkr, so i cant help you on the first one with the second one, you should just be able to have a locked door that an npc is bound too (like in a 'target' key in the npc), and so when the npc dies it triggers a new state in the door (unlocked) i dont know the exact way to do that with radiant (like i said im new at this), but thats how i would do it when i was editing half-life Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
