I followed the skin tut that comes with the game. It showed up in the skin list alright

 

 

 

I changed and saved the new images as

trainer_legs_bell.jpg

trainer_face_bell.jpg

trainer_head_bell.jpg

 

I also changed these names in the skin file and saved it as

model_default_bell.skin

 

I paked em up and threw it in the base and thats what i got. I headlesss torsless skin.

any ideas?

I'm going to guess that part of your eventual problem will be renaming the model_default.skin to model_default_bell.skin

 

You never change those.

 

I would recommend going into your model_default.skin and check to see if it points to the correct folder... For instance...

 

models/players/bell/trainer_legs_bell.tga

instead of

models/players/trainer_legs_bell.tga

or

models/players/trainer/trainer_legs_bell.tga

 

But that's just a guess. I've done that before.

yup you're right,

inside the skin file i had to change all the

/jeditrainer/

 

to

 

/bell/

 

khewl.

however, I changed model_default_bell.skin to model_default.skin and it didn't work. I changed it back and it works.
