I need somebody, Help. not just anybody, Help

I'm trying to make a lightsaber hilt for JO, and I'm stuck. i need somebody who can tell me what to do to be able to actually export .md3 files into gmax. i got the export plug-ins from Brothers in Arms site. now i dont know what to do with the files. where agzactly do i put them?

Put the files into the Gambase/models/weapons/saber folder.

 

In that folder should be a.skin (wordpad) your jpg. and The md3. You can refer to

fbf here has included what to put into that .skin. So when you open the md3 viewer. Everything is in place.

 

Open your saber, import your skin, then export out as glm. Then create a pk3.

 

 

mods/models/weapons2/saber/ *files*

 

Exit and then right click on mods. In the menu that pops up click add to zip. It will comeback to you as a zip file. Rename the the zip file to NAME.PK3 .. All you have to do now is throw this file into you gamedata/base folder....and load up jk2.

ok i dont think i said it right, i just downloaded the files form the Brothers Arms site, and now i dont know what to do with the files i just downloaded. what folder do i put them in... i dont have a Gambase/models/weapons/saber folder.

 

ya know what how about someone just tell me how to do the hole thing. maybe not. i wont need the whole walkthrough if someone just tells me where to put the files you unzip from the file you get from Arms Brothers site.
