D.L. Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 To convert Quake 3 skins and models to Jedi Knight 2? There are some great skins (esp Ash from Evil Dead)that I have which would be great in JK2.
EffJi Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 The games uses the same engine, so I don't see the problem. I bet there is some tutorials on how to do it lying around as well, look at some modelling sites (JKII and Q3).
Major Clod Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 JK2 is based on the same engine, it is not exactly the same as the Q3 engine. Many areas, especially the modelling and animation side, have been advanced or even replaced. JK2 uses ravens Ghoul modelling system, which is very different to the original quake 3 system. Converting a model from Q3, or any other game for that matter, would still be quite an extensive task.
