Major Clod Posted July 2, 2002 Share Posted July 2, 2002 JK2 is based on the same engine, it is not exactly the same as the Q3 engine. Many areas, especially the modelling and animation side, have been advanced or even replaced. JK2 uses ravens Ghoul modelling system, which is very different to the original quake 3 system.
