Need help with model switching

I know that the Tyrion and reborn models allow you to switch it in-game. Is there a way you can switch the saber model the same way? I'm trying to make a sword that has two different looks to it (one of them is a really cool scythe weapon) and I wanted to be able to switch the models with a bind like you can with Robed/Unrobed Tyrion.
