Sniper Wolf
Hey everyone I have completely finished my model (except for a few weighting corrections) and I was wondering if anyone could uvwmap it for me? I am not good at this and I have been learning but I don't know the finer points and I don't wanna screw up the model after these last 2 months of perfecting it. Could someone please offer to do it for me? Of course you'd be given credit. Don't let this model go to waste because if I can't get anyone to do it I will have to do it (and no doubt do a bad job since this is my first experience with UVWmapping) Here are some pictures. http://www.villagephotos.com/extern/401472.jpg http://www.villagephotos.com/extern/401471.jpg Don't let this go to waste. Contact me on AIM at Ataris1123 or ICQ at 163908539. I will give you the details then. - Wolf
Lucko Mabri
Hey There. Who is that bloke meant to be? he looks cool btw -Lucko Mabri
SilentMobius
Well, I know I can't do it, the method I use for UVW mapping _WILL_ destory your weightings (I know this because I had also weighted the model first). Additionally I haven't finished UVW mapping my battledroid yet and I'll tell you this, it is _BORING_ so I wish you the best of luck finding someone to do it for you. Now, I have been told that you can UVW map without collapsing your mesh, though I'm not convinced. You might want to look towards those people if you want to keep your weightings. Lovely mesh BTW. Sniper Wolf
Its an original character, who I am in JK2 when playing. His name is Rendak and hes kinda the quiet Jedi type. Man I wish I knew I had to of uvmapped before I did everything else. Mobius whats the way you have heard of that doesn't collapse your mesh? Sniper Wolf
Well if anyone can do it even if it does delete the weighting, I'll be glad to weight it again. I just wanna get the model done so I can start my Spawn model. Thanks - Wolf
Sounds Risky
It's supposed to be a Star Wars character? I don't think the Star Wars universe has glasses. He looks like some Anime character.
Sniper Wolf
Hey it can be whoever the hell I want it to be >.< And people from Star Wars can have glasses. Who says they don't
CheshireKat
Sniper Vash is looking good, though a bit messy. I'd suggest you clean up the polyflow and work the face some more. Theres's still a feel of the very SW model to it. Vash's eyes are quite a bit longer ect. So if you do that, and turn some poly's, Im sure you'll be very pleased with it. By then you'll have lost you weights, and can whipp up some UVs (I never really mean whipp up UV's ) and reweight him. Good Luck
Sounds Risky
So it is an Anime character. Why were you trying to sell him off as something else? It is a good looking model.

Sniper Wolf
It does look like Vash, but its actually a combo. Its my original character but then for the red team skin, its gonna be a lot more like Vash. Don't flame me out on it, I'm just fooling around with modelling and see how people like it. - Wolf

Lucko Mabri
Hey there is one problem i see (if its meant to be like that i dont know but i'll ask) When his torso connects tohis legs that area seems.... odd? is it meant to be like that or is it just the perspective of the picture? -Lucko Mabri

Look out for my model and skins with custom sounds, 3 LODs, bot support and the 3 different skins sometime by the end of the month.
