Carnival Posted July 6, 2002 Posted July 6, 2002 im just thinking...bioware could come up with a Tron rpg...it could use the current system that monolith are using for their Tron fps as its more of an rpg system ( genre blender ) than a striaght fps one...anyone got one better ( no transformers thought - it would never work )
Com Raven Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 well, in reality, Bioware can make games for Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance and Star Wars...
stormtroop Posted July 8, 2002 Posted July 8, 2002 why dont they make more diffrent games by getting diffrent licences
Com Raven Posted July 8, 2002 Posted July 8, 2002 why should they ? Bioware is THE rising star in this business... something like #11 of North Americas fastest growing businesses, with the best selling pc rpg series of all times...
Carnival Posted July 8, 2002 Author Posted July 8, 2002 hence the reason why started this topic...they could make worthy games for a load of licenses that up to now have been wasted away...the tron license, the blade runner license, stargate license hell even comic book heros like cap america and spider man
Com Raven Posted July 8, 2002 Posted July 8, 2002 well, most of those are held by other companys... Tron is being made... Blade Runner should belong to EA.... DC and Marvel are both held by several different companies...
Carnival Posted July 10, 2002 Author Posted July 10, 2002 tron is owned by disney who can license and has licensed tron to monolith to make a fps but not an rpg...something they could do with bioware...
Com Raven Posted July 10, 2002 Posted July 10, 2002 prob is that a company doesn't want to share it's licenses... I am pretty sure that Monolith was given exclusive rights...
covenant_bad Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 The screen shots for tron look very trippin with those bright colors just like the movie.
Com Raven Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 looks like I am the only one who isn't into Tron at all...
