Leonheart
I've been reading posts etc for awhile now and i'm extremely interested in learning to model, i have a few 3d art proggies, maya, lightwave, and a few programs i use for skinning in other games and making wallpapers - photoshop, paintshop anyway, i am looking for some tutorials for basic modeling, just want to see if i can get one working, if i do then i will try making a few of my favorite characters (cecil from FF4, Trunks SSJ4, and Mega Man) these are my only ideas right now, they all have pretty basic body designs, and all use swords which i would like to do as well. BUT to get started i need some help any links to downloading gmax would be appreciated as i dislike maya for learning to model *its a fairly big bitch to understand at first*

I don't know where you get it at. But...... I am working on a sword making tutorial. So.... when I finish it. I'll let you know where you can get it. How's that sound man? VampireHunterD
Why don't you learn to build an ewok? Those little critters are something that need to be put in JK2. There small, furry, and might not require a lot of modeling detail. You put the rest of the detail into the skin. *"Yub Yub" says the ewok*
