AbaJaBart Posted July 14, 2002 Share Posted July 14, 2002 There are one of two ways to solve your problem. 1. Go to Set up then to MOD, the Admin mod should show up there. Then run the MOD and You will have the power of the Admin 2. Go to the "Multiplayer Safe Mode" short cut in the Start Menu. Right Click and hit properties. Then in the target line, go to the end of it, erase Safe, then put in that +set dadada stuff. Ashkevron Posted July 14, 2002 Share Posted July 14, 2002 I couldnt get the mod to work on my dedicated linux server. i created a adminmod dir in /jedi where i have my files store and put the zip file contents in it. when i try to start the server it segfaults. Kid_A Posted July 16, 2002 Share Posted July 16, 2002 hey all, i have the vulcanus adminmod and it installed just fine, but here's the thing (keep in mind all of this happens after i load the adminmod file from the mod category in setup): it allows me to be the admin when i create a server & it's not dedicated, but when i change to dedicated server and open up jedi knight ii again i can join the server but it doesnt recognize me as the admin, now how would i change that? thanks for any help. Crybos Posted July 17, 2002 Share Posted July 17, 2002 You'd need to use rcon, if you want to be an Admin, or use the Secondary Admin feature in the mod. For your dedicated server, there should be something like... seta rconPassword "password" Remember that password. When you go to play your dedicated server, you'd type in the console /rconpassword password That would log you on.
