RedGuard Posted July 14, 2002 Share Posted July 14, 2002 I've loaded the "Fun in the Sun bikini pack" and "Lara Croft" skins onto my comp and placed them in the indicated folder, but when I start the multiplayer game they appear to completely have no torso at all. The .surf files within the skin .pk3 tell the program to turn surfaces on and off on the model. The bikini skins use the .surf file to turn off Jan's vest. The turning off of surfaces does not work however unless the 1.03 patch is installed (or at least it did not work for me). If you have the patch installed then it is probably a skin file problem as Bell has suggested. Off topic: I'm trying to put these skins in SP with the rainbow Bryar turned on, but it isn't working. Can somebody tell me how to replace original NPCs (like stormies or Reborn) with a new model?
