PRAXEUM
Greetings, Im an admin on a server. And i was trying to fix something and used the killserver command. How do i bring the sever back up. The server owner is not on right now and im not sure how to bring it back up. Is there anyway i can bring it back up through RCON or qtracker? Any assitance that people could give me would be greatly appreciated ASAP.. Thank you all for your time PRAXEUM
MatrixCPA
I don't believe you can bring it back up through rcon unless you can still connect to the server. If you can, try either a map command or exec server.cfg (or whatever the admin has called it). If the server doesn't have an auto-restart script running nor can you still connect to the server, then I'd say you're out of luck.
JoezCool2
I use SSH which is a secure form of Telnet, to log on to a remote computer and start my server. I also use a Screen program because the server uses linux. using the screen program allows you to see the server screen console and restart and shutdown. If either of these would help you I will give some more details. http://www.ssh.com/download/ Screen is a utility for Linux not sure about windows
